Sir Kenneth Grange
Kenneth Grange was knighted in the 2013 New Year Honours list (CBE) – a largely unsung hero outside the British design community. His most iconic contribution to industrial design is the High Speed Train, introduced in 1976 and still a common sight on Britain’s railways on the East Coast, Midland and Great Western Main Lines as well as the Cross Country Route.
Ben Terrett has some photos of Sir Kenneth and points to a full biography and an excellent book which catalogues his work in considerable detail – all worth investigating.
